26 April 2014. Qatar wants to be important international hub or regional hub. The objective could be achieved as Hamad International Airport launch next week.
The Qatar's state civil aviation authority said the construction has been delayed for almost one year. The Hamad International Airport is expected to start operation on May 2014.
Existing airport, Doha international airport handled 23 million passengers in 2013, while the new Hamad International Airport will handle 50 million passengers per year and possibly 2 million tonnes of cargo & logistics per year.
This new Hamad International Airport also including the development of airlines as well. Qatar Airways has growing rapidly in recent years, Qatar Airways expands 116 aircraft for 15 years since founded. Expecting more on hosting Qatar World Cup 2022, Hamad International Airport would be able to serve the participants and foreigner.

23 April 2014. Azul Airlines to lease wide body aircraft in international flight routes.
The Brazilian carrier get the target on to both upcoming Airbus A350-900 and Airbus A330-200. The aircraft will be leased from International Lease Financial Corporation (ILFC).
Airbus A330-200 will be delivered on 2015, and International flight launching at the same time. Airbus A330-200 will be equipped with Rolls-Royce engine, trent 700. Possibly the same engine for Airbus A350-900. While the Airbus A350-900 to be delivered in early 2017.
The wide body aircraft are new thing for Azul, so they have all enthusiast on international flight launching. At the moment Azul airlines only operate Embraer series and ATR series, all of the fleet are the single aisle aircraft.
